She was an actor, I was an artist, each struggling. Her feet were on the table where I worked, her sole inches from my brush.

She asked lyrically, "would you paint a picture on the bottom of my shoe?"

I reply "If you put on a play in the bathroom."

My story really happened in a cramped flat in Durango...i cant really say more because it would not be fair to add more words to the story, i just mean to say it is true. and if you are reading this oddball, I would be terribly happy to paint on the bottom of yer shoe!

(...and the story is toned down to be family friendly, it seems i was more vulgar in art school.)
